I am His Eyes!

If a man or woman living among you in one of the towns the Lord gives you is found doing evil in the eyes of the Lord your God in violation of his covenant, and contrary to my command has worshiped other gods, bowing down to them or to the sun or the moon or the stars in the sky, and this has been brought to your attention, then you must investigate it thoroughly. If it is true and it has been proved that this detestable thing has been done in Israel, take the man or woman who has done this evil deed to your city gate and stone that person to death. (Deuteronomy:17:2-5)

This Old Testament passage talks about the evil things that are being done in the sight of the Lord. It is interesting to note that the Lord instructs His people to keep an eye on their fellow men and pass a judgement based on what they see and hear. It talks about the idol worship that's being committed in the 'sight of the Lord'. Wouldn't it be easier for the Lord to bring a judgement on those who are committing sins in His sight instead of asking the people to take action against the perpetrators? That's because GOD wanted them to be His eyes, ears and hands in the land of Israel.

Right now, in the New Testament era too, GOD wants us to be His eyes, ears and hands in this world but not to pass judgement on others. He wants to be the ones that will help bring the unbelievers out of darkness, suffering and affliction. He has given us every tool necessary to accomplish His goal. He has given us power, authority, talents ans skills to expand the already established Kingdom of GOD's rule on this earth. Jesus went ahead of us and showed us how to achieve this goal as we read in Acts:10:38 'how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil, because God was with him.' Let the words "Thy will be done on this earth as it is in heaven' become a reality in our lives. Let's go around delivering the people from darkness, healing the sick, excelling in everything that we put our hand into and bringing hope to the hopeless.

Worship for Free!

Do not sacrifice to the Lord your God an ox or a sheep that has any defect or flaw in it, for that would be detestable to him. (Deuteronomy:17:1)

It's a real pity that some of us while entering the presence of the Lord, still operate with an Old Testament mentality. We take a hard look at ourselves and it won't take long before our conscience convicts us of a guilty act. With that mind we won't be able to freely enjoy His presence. Is it not necessary to introspect before worship? Isn't that what GOD wants? A pure and holy version of us. Yes, The truth is we are already holy in His sight from the moment we acknowledge Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. GOD wants us to be holy but the truth is we go into His presence based on the work of Jesus Christ on the cross and not our own righteousness. Jesus did not enter by means of the blood of goats and calves; but he entered the Most Holy Place once for all by his own blood, thus obtaining eternal redemption.(Hebrews:9:12)

Every time we come before GOD, He looks at the blood of Jesus Christ over our lives and not us. What a big relief! We need not worry about our righteousness score for the day before stepping into His presence. All we need to do is to make our conscience aware of this truth so that it won't condemn us every time we talk to GOD. Does it mean that we can go on and live a life of sin? No, that's stupid. When we sin we open the door for the devil to step in and cause havoc in our lives. With this purified conscience and the truth that Jesus has paid for all of our sins, holiness will flow out of lives without our knowledge. We are a new creation and the Spirit of GOD which is now within us helps us to renew our mind by enabling us to spend time in His word and presence. Slowly, but surely we will become more like Jesus that we were called to become!

P.S: In case, if you had sinned, acknowledge it to GOD right away when you had realized it and proclaim that you receive GOD's forgiveness and move on! For more info on this topic go to https://awme.net/

Giants are big but GOD is bigger!

Meanwhile, the Philistine, with his shield bearer in front of him, kept coming closer to David. (I Samuel:17:41)

David's encounter with Goliath is a real eye opener for those of us facing giants in our day to day life. First of all, David never considered Goliath as a giant and certainly didn't consider him as a giant who can't be slain. It was possible because of his daily walk with GOD which enabled him to see through the eyes of faith. David saw Goliath's mammoth appearance as a target that can't be easily missed. When Goliath started to come near him, all David could think of was that the target is getting bigger. He was never scared and the point of attack that he had identified that of Goliath's forehead is now within range. So as we read in I Samuel:17:48 & 49 "As the Philistine moved closer to attack him, David ran quickly toward the battle line to meet him. Reaching into his bag and taking out a stone, he slung it and struck the Philistine on the forehead. The stone sank into his forehead, and he fell facedown on the ground". David defeated Goliath with a stone and a sling.

Anything that can be overwhelming in your life is a giant. It can be a financial situation, struggle with sin, loss of appetite for GOD, sickness etc. As the giants in our life keep getting bigger, let's not run away and hide. It's a chance for us to reach out and obtain victory. The bigger the problem becomes, the sooner the breakthrough is going to be. Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego's deliverance happened immediately after the strength of the fire was raised seven fold. The dawn is the darkest before the day! So, be bold like David and reach into the bag of GOD's promises, take out His word, proclaim it over your life and His word is good enough to kill any kind of a giant.

Child like heart & GOD is Yours

At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes. Even so, Father: for so it seemed good in thy sight.(Matthew:11:25 & 26)

Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. He is the way that can be easily found, the truth that can be easily known and the life that can be easily experienced. Knowing GOD doesn't require a great deal of wisdom or prudence but just a child like heart. Just like how babies and children places their absolute trust in their Father, we are called to be child like in order to experience the fullness of GOD in our lives.

Sometimes, we over complicate the things of GOD and leave ourselves in a confused state. It happens when we try to understand the things of GOD using our own intellect. The learned and the religious in the days of Jesus couldn't come to terms with whatever He said, mainly because, instead of believing His words as they were, they tested, reasoned and evaluated it using their own understanding. When we treat GOD as a "subject" and try to study Him, we will only gain a head knowledge about Him which is of no use. Treat GOD as your Father and get into a relationship with Him, its a whole lot different proposition altogether.

Peter believed the words of Jesus and cast the net in the same place where he and his fellowmen had caught nothing the earlier night. He was an expert fisherman and still never reasoned with Jesus and tried talking Him out of it. He obeyed with a child-like faith and was rewarded with an overflowing catch. Of course, there will be a situation where its hard to believe GOD and you got to fight your own self. You are not alone! GOD has given us the comforter - Holy Spirit, who will whisper into your ears and make you remember the promises of GOD and will get you over the finish line.

How Good is GOD?

Then Jesus began to denounce the towns in which most of his miracles had been performed, because they did not repent. “Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the miracles that were performed in you had been performed in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes. (Matthew:11:20 & 21)

GOD knew that the miracles performed by Jesus wouldn't cause the people of Chorazin and Bethsaida to repent and turn to Him. GOD is Sovereign and He knew the end from the beginning. Then it begs the question, why should He let Jesus perform miracles among such hard hearted men? Because that's who He is. A loving Father!! He always gives numerous chances to His people, hoping that they will repent and turn from their evil ways by showing His goodness. It's the goodness of GOD that leads us to repentance. (Romans:2:4) It was for the same reason that Jesus selected Judas as one of His disciples even though He knew that Judas will betray Him. But that didn't stop Jesus from even trusting him with money giving him a chance to not to yield himself to the devil. But, alas, Judas did.

Peter denied Jesus thrice and the first conversation Jesus had with him after His resurrection was to assure him that He still loves him as He did before the denial. Not only that, Jesus gave him the responsibility to take care of the believers and the church that are about to be birthed. Peter repented unlike Judas who killed himself. If you are filled with guilt and remorse for a wrong doing and are trying to stay away from GOD as far as possible, this is GOD reaching out to you today. Look out for GOD's goodness in your life and don't say 'No' to Him. All He is expecting in return is a continual relationship with Him - a Father son/daughter relationship. GOD is so good even when we treat Him as a stranger, He doesn't let go off us. He continues to show us His goodness hoping to get our attention and pull us back into His fold. GOD IS GOOD and ALL THE TIME!!

Show me the results!

“To what can I compare this generation? They are like children sitting in the marketplaces and calling out to others: “‘We played the pipe for you, and you did not dance; we sang a dirge, and you did not mourn.’ For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, ‘He has a demon.’ The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say, ‘Here is a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners.’ But wisdom is proved right by her deeds.” (Matthew 11:16-19)

We are always at the center of criticism whatever we do, whenever we do and wherever we do. It's not just something that's common to a believer but to everyone that is alive or even dead. We get hurt when we listen to those criticism and especially when we know for sure some of them are dishonest and harsh. Take heart for Jesus too wasn't spared from negative criticism. In the above passage we see the criticism that was aimed towards Him and John the baptist. But neither of them reacted to it and tried to change their behavior to in order to please their critics and to get them on their side. Jesus continued doing what he did before - to hang around with sinners. Don't try to change your ways in order to please people who doesn't approve the right things that you do. We need not pay attention to criticism as long as we are doing the right things in GOD's sight.

Jesus ends this conversation by saying that 'wisdom is proved right by her deeds'. In someways it has got the 'a tree will be known by its fruit' ring to it. It doesn't matter what people might say about your ministry, job, household etc. It's the results that come out of them that matters. Is your ministry yielding fruits? Are you a blessing to others at your house and workplace manifesting the kingdom of GOD? Then you are doing just fine. Paul says in I Corinthians: 4:20 For the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power. That's an amazing truth. But I feel it's not often quoted as much as the verse Romans 14:17 For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. Christianity is much more than just talking about salvation and eternal life. It's about power, RESULTS!! If we don't back up our sermons and messages with the demonstration of GOD's power in the form of signs and wonders, we are missing the whole point. It ain't right until we produce the results. May the Lord grant us that revelation and let His power be manifested in and through us.

John being John!

Truly I tell you, among those born of women there has not risen anyone greater than John the Baptist; yet whoever is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he. (Matthew:11:11)

Throughout the Bible, we see GOD giving testimonies about certain men who formed a close relationship with Him. David was called as 'a man after GOD's own heart', Abraham was called as 'a friend of GOD' and so forth. Here we see Jesus referring to John as the greatest person to be ever born of women. That is one stunning testimony John received from the Son of GOD himself. The good news is you and I can emulate John by remaining least in the kingdom of heaven.

What was so special about John's life that he was referred as the greatest of all? Everyone who knew or heard about the events surrounding John's birth, knew that he was a special child, but that didn't qualify him to be a great prophet. He went through the rigorous process that every prophet had to go through. Having a prophecy over our life is one thing but living up to it by co-laboring with GOD and making it come to pass is another thing. But John certainly lived up to every word that was spoken about him by the prophets. That he will be filled with the same Spirit that Elijah had and preach repentance thereby paving a way for Jesus to enter and start His ministry. That was John's calling, to be precise.

By the time Jesus appeared on the scene to be baptized by John, he had many disciples and followers. Once John showed them that he ain't the Messiah and Jesus is the One, the numbers started to dwindle. John's disciples approached him and made their concerns known. That Jesus' ministry is gaining momentum whereas John's seems to be reaching its end. And what kind of response did that invoke from John? "He must become greater, I must become less". (John:3:30). If only our leaders in churches had such clear knowledge and understanding on each of their calling, there will be harmony and unity among all denominations which is rarely seen nowadays. John had no jealousy, pride, ego or whatsoever. This is in stark contrast to Saul who was filled with jealousy when people started following David at his expense.
John just wanted to be the John that GOD had called him to be. In GOD's kingdom, being least is being yourself and doing the will of GOD. John showed it and Jesus is urging us to replicate it.

Hearing Aid to Hear from GOD

The Lord said, “Go out and stand on the mountain in the presence of the Lord, for the Lord is about to pass by.” Then a great and powerful wind tore the mountains apart and shattered the rocks before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake. After the earthquake came a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire. And after the fire came a gentle whisper. When Elijah heard it, he pulled his cloak over his face and went out and stood at the mouth of the cave. Then a voice said to him, “What are you doing here, Elijah?” (I Kings 19:11-13)

This is a fascinating encounter that Elijah has with GOD on Horeb, the mountain of GOD. Three things happen right before Elijah's eyes - wind, earthquake and fire but alas GOD wasn't there in any of them. Let's look at each one of them and find out what could be the reason.

WIND:

The Bible says in James 1:6 & 7 But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. The wind here represents a man filled with doubt. Elijah after the highs of Mount Carmel is running for his life fearing a woman. That's an unlikely event happening to someone who just brought fire from the heavens. Elijah wouldn't have run for his life if there weren't any doubts about completely trusting GOD with his life. When we are filled with doubts about GOD, its highly unlikely we would hear from Him.

EARTHQUAKE:

Then there came flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder and a severe earthquake. No earthquake like it has ever occurred since mankind has been on earth, so tremendous was the quake. The great city split into three parts, and the cities of the nations collapsed. (Revelations: 16:18 & 19). Earthquake here represents the judgement of GOD on earth and its inhabitants. After a day into his journey through the wilderness Elijah says “Take my life; I am no better than my ancestors.” Elijah was distraught that his life is no better than his ancestors and that might lead to GOD judging him and punishing him. He says its better I die, rather than to fall into the hands of the living GOD. That's the same mistake we do when we approach GOD. You might be the worst sinner in the whole world, but your sins have been paid for and Jesus bore your judgement and punishment when He hung on the cross 2000 years ago. We won't find or hear GOD, if we approach Him fearing His wrath and judgement.

FIRE:

Likewise, the tongue is a small part of the body, but it makes great boasts. Consider what a great forest is set on fire by a small spark. The tongue also is a fire, a world of evil among the parts of the body. It corrupts the whole body, sets the whole course of one’s life on fire, and is itself set on fire by hell. (James: 3:5 & 6) The words of our mouth are like fire. It can set alight someone's life or destroy it. Elijah here wasn't using it for the best. Out of frustration he prayed that he should die and declares out loud that he is none better than his ancestors which was certainly not the case. When we declare or speak words of death instead of life and GOD's goodness over our lives, it will be difficult to hear from GOD.

When these three things had come and gone, there was a gentle whisper. The still small voice of GOD. Let's do everything we can to avoid doubts, fear of GOD's judgement and poor choice of words when we speak so that our ears will always be open to the still small voice of GOD.

Your Prison Season is Over!

When John, who was in prison, heard about the deeds of the Messiah, he sent his disciples to ask him, “Are you the one who is to come, or should we expect someone else?” Jesus replied, “Go back and report to John what you hear and see: The blind receive sight, the lame walk, those who have leprosy are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is proclaimed to the poor. Blessed is anyone who does not stumble on account of me.” (Matthew 11:2-6)

John questioning Jesus about his Messianic credentials is startling. It was John, not long ago, proclaimed to the world about Jesus being the Savior in John 1:29-34 "The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, “Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world! This is the one I meant when I said, ‘A man who comes after me has surpassed me because he was before me.’ I myself did not know him, but the reason I came baptizing with water was that he might be revealed to Israel.” Then John gave this testimony: “I saw the Spirit come down from heaven as a dove and remain on him. And I myself did not know him, but the one who sent me to baptize with water told me, ‘The man on whom you see the Spirit come down and remain is the one who will baptize with the Holy Spirit.’ I have seen and I testify that this is God’s Chosen One.”

By comparing the two incidents its clear that John isn't himself ever since he was sent to prison. A prison can do a lot of bad things to the prisoner's mind. John who has seen Jesus performing all kinds of wonder would have expected Jesus to get him out of prison. Such a thought would have crossed his mind because of the situation he found himself in. When you're locked up within four walls knowing there is no way out you become a desperate man. We see, even in Joseph's life, he was desperate to get out of prison, requesting the cup bearer to put in a good word for him to Pharaoh and get him released. But that wasn't what GOD had planned. If Joseph had come out then, he wouldn't have been exalted to greater heights in Egypt. When we are locked up in a prison of debt, sickness, failure etc. and we don't see a way out, it's important we don't lose sight of GOD and start to doubt His credentials.

John was beginning to lose sight of GOD as the prison life was taking its toll on him. Jesus, who loved John just as much as He loves us, wouldn't want him to be caught up in a state of hopelessness. Jesus told the disciples of John to remind his master of the miracles and the goodness of GOD that is being displayed through Him. Are you locked up in a prison of some kind? Jesus wants you to focus on GOD's goodness that has happened to you in the past and that's happening to those around you. It's not going to be too long, before His goodness floods your life and you will be out of your prison in no time! Just trust Him. Return to your fortress, you prisoners of hope; even now I announce that I will restore twice as much to you. (Zechariah: 9:12)

Get in if its GOD's Will

For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father’s family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?” (Esther:4:14)

Mordecai uttered this rallying cry to Esther, who was at the king's palace, requesting for her help on a life and death situation for the Jews - Esther's own people. Haman who held a higher position at the king's office, persuaded the king to sign a decree to kill every Jew. Haman did this as a way of getting back at Mordecai, who refused to bow down or pay any honor to him, while the other workers at the palace did.

Esther was reluctant to lend any help at first citing a law that whosoever approaches the king without being summoned shall be killed. Mordecai's response statement is what Esther:4:14 talks about. Mordecai made it clearly known to Esther that her position in the king's palace alone won't guarantee hers or her family's safety, but doing the will of the Lord will. Whatever position, authority or power we hold on earth couldn't provide the protection that we are afforded with when we do the will of GOD. No matter how hard the situation is, when we do the will of GOD, we are safe.

Esther understood that she has been elevated to such a position for a difficult time as that. That she should be able to negotiate with the king, even though it involves risking her life and bring about a deliverance for the Jews. She understood that doing the will of GOD which is to appear before the king before she is summoned is more than worthy than to sit around in the palace fearing for her family's life. GOD cannot simply sit and watch when His people take risks in the name of faith. He will intervene, take matters into His own hand and He will have the final say, just like He did for Esther and Mordecai.

Be Wired to His Cloud & Fire

By day the Lord went ahead of them in a pillar of cloud to guide them on their way and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, so that they could travel by day or night. Neither the pillar of cloud by day nor the pillar of fire by night left its place in front of the people. (Exodus:13:21&22)

Both the pillar of cloud and fire are the one and the same. They served literally as a protection and guide to Moses and the people of Israel. Today, it represents the presence of GOD in our lives. Without His presence, we won't be having any progress in our lives. It's His presence that takes us to the promised land - GOD's kingdom on earth. Let's take a look at the these two aspects of GOD's presence - cloud & fire.

Pillar of Cloud:

While its clear from the above verse that the cloud was to guide them through the day, Isaiah 4:6 adds another detail to GOD's presence appearing as a cloud. It will be a shelter and shade from the heat of the day, and a refuge and hiding place from the storm and rain. Now, what does the "heat of the day" represents? The answer is in the parable of the sower where Jesus says that the scorching heat from the sun caused the plants to wither and die. But the plants soon wilted under the hot sun, and since they didn't have deep roots, they died. (Matthew:13:6) The scorching heat represents the persecution and the trouble that we believers face in this world. At times of trouble, GOD's presence in the form of a cloud will give us shelter and shade, thereby preserving us and preventing our spiritual life from death.

Pillar of fire:

We know who operates at night. I Thessalonians:5:2 says "like a thief in the night". Jesus referred the devil as the thief who comes into our life to steal, kill and destroy. GOD's presence in the form of fire, lights up our night, so that no devil or whatever form of darkness can touch our lives. Whenever, we feel like we are surrounded by darkness, His presence is all we need. It releases a light into our lives that will give us a peace of mind and keep us from the devil's harms way.

To conclude, it's imperative that we find ourselves always under the atmosphere of GOD's presence. We know scientists are worried about a hole in the Ozone layer and it's because of the pollution in the world that we live in. They believe this could lead to catastrophic changes on the earth. It can be compared to our relationship with GOD. If we are lead by the Spirit, meditate His word and keep our mind free of corruption and sin, we will have the presence of GOD as a perfect Ozone layer over us.

Forgive and let it slide

“So then, it was not you who sent me here, but God. He made me father to Pharaoh, lord of his entire household and ruler of all Egypt. (Genesis:45:8)

What Joseph's brothers did to him was unforgivable. Well, atleast that's what we would think when we read about all that happened between him and his brothers. But, not to Joseph, he forgave them instantly, the moment he recognized them even though he kept it to himself at first. How is that even possible? Because Joseph is a man filled with the Spirit of GOD and he had discernment and wisdom. Not only did he forgive them, but even goes on to say that it was not them who had sent him to Egypt. When in reality it was indeed them. It implies that Joseph not only forgave but went one step further and forgot the harm that his brothers had caused. He realized that even though his brothers intended to do harm, GOD had turned it around for good. This is an important lesson we need to learn as believers.

We live in a fallen world and yes there will be people who may trick us and do us harm intentionally or non-intentionally. Sometimes, it maybe a person from our own family, a friend or a co-worker. As a believer, when we feel cheated, tricked, outwitted or deceived its imperative we discard even the slightest thoughts of revenge. Thinking about getting back at that person or having a laugh when something bad happens to them - let us be far from that. Jesus wouldn't want us to behave that way. Instead, take it to GOD and leave it to Him. For He is the balm of Gilead and he will heal our hearts. And don't worry, GOD knows a thing or two about turning every bad thing to work out for our good in the end.

No rush till I see the "burning bush"

But in that day, the branch of the LORD will be beautiful and glorious; the fruit of the land will be the pride and glory of all who survive in Israel. (Isaiah: 4:1)

This verse is addressed to the people of Israel who have survived a war that ravaged the whole country. They were in a state of mind thinking "Why are we still alive? Why didn't we too die in the war? What good is going to come out of this?" But the Lord through His prophet promises that its good that they survived and they have better things to look forward to. The rest of the chapter (Isaiah 4) talks about the good things that will happen to them.

I want to talk to those of you who find yourself in a similar situation like the people of Israel. There has been a war of change in your life recently and you are wondering what on earth is happening? Why am I still here? Maybe, you think you are caught up in the wrong place, with wrong people or at a wrong job. But, don't jump to conclusions yet, because the GOD whom you trust might have a purpose for you there. Just like He had for Moses when he was in the wilderness for forty years after running away from Egypt as a convict. Moses killed an Egyptian whom he saw fighting an Israelite hoping to endear himself to the Israelites as their Savior. But his plan fell apart and he had to flee fearing the wrath of Pharaoh. Now, GOD wanted a deliverer with the mentality of a shepherd to lead the Israelites. For the Israelites with their volatile inconsistent nature needed someone who is patient and kind, qualities found in a shepherd. Moses, on the other hand had a mentality of a "the next Pharaoh in waiting". It didn't fit the job profile that GOD was looking for. So, by allowing Moses to wander in the desert, tending to those sheep, GOD was teaching Moses the nuances of surviving a desert without himself realizing. When the time was right, burning bush happened and the rest is history. Wherever you are, just stay put and wait for that "burning bush" moment. Who knows? GOD might be training you for a job of your lifetime.

Blessings!

What GOD means to YOU?

Have you seen this funny meme?

Though this meme was intended to mock the atheists, it kind of asks a question to us too. To us those who believe in GOD. What is GOD mean to us? Is He the the one we have on our speed dials that we call only during desperate times? Is He the one we think about only on Sundays? No, there is much more to GOD than that. We wouldn't know about Him if we have a detached relationship like seeking Him only on Sundays or only when we are in trouble. Infact, He invites us to come closer. He sent His only Son JESUS CHRIST to die for us on the cross for this one purpose - a relationship with us, on a daily, moment by moment basis. It doesn't mean we need to lock ourselves up in a room praying all through the day, not paying attention to anything around us. It's not that. We all are busy or so we claim to be. We shouldn't just adjust our calendar and allocate a specific time for GOD, then go about the day keeping Him out of our daily affairs. We should also try to involve Him in each and every event that's on in our calendar. How do we do that? David says in Psalms:16:8 I keep my eyes always on the Lord. With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken. David was a king and he fought wars most of the time. But, be it a war or during a truce he kept his eyes always on the Lord and never let go off Him. No wonder GOD called David "a man after His own heart".

It's easier said than done though. But the good news is its not impossible. The key to having such a relationship like David is to understand GOD's love for us. David understood the love and the grace that the Lord had shown him. Then King David went in and sat before the Lord, and he said: “Who am I, Sovereign Lord, and what is my family, that you have brought me this far? (shepherd to King) says the Bible in II Samuel:7:18. When we understand His love for us, we cannot let go off him. Let the prayer of Apostle Paul be ours too. That we may have a greater revelation of the love of GOD in our lives which will draw us to have a closer relationship with GOD like never before.

Maher-Shalal-Hash-Baz What?
