When they had crossed, Elijah said to Elisha, “Tell me, what can I do for you before I am taken from you?”
“Let me inherit a double portion of your spirit,” Elisha replied.
“You have asked a difficult thing,” Elijah said, “yet if you see me when I am taken from you, it will be yours—otherwise, it will not.” (2 Kings:2:9&10)
What was Elisha expected to see in the event - "Elijah's ascension to heaven" that would bestow him with the double portion of power that was upon Elijah? Well, the answer is "Elisha was expected to see and accept the reality!" The reality that Elijah won't be around him anymore. We can see in verse 16, the company of prophets requesting Elisha to send a search party for Elijah! “Look,” they said, “we your servants have fifty able men. Let them go and look for your master. Perhaps the Spirit of the Lord has picked him up and set him down on some mountain or in some valley.” “No,” Elisha replied, “do not send them.” But we see Elisha is not much interested in doing so because he has accepted the reality that his master, who he and the entire nation of Israel had relied upon so far won't be around anymore.
The lesson that the Lord wants us to learn from this incident is sometimes we have to accept the reality and move on. You might have lost your job, or a loved one or a relationship, whatever it could be. You know what it is because the Spirit of the Lord is pointing it to you right now. Get over it, accept the reality and get on with your life, just like Elisha did.

A Strong Message of Courage
Be strong and courageous, because you will lead these people to inherit the land I swore to their ancestors to give them. (Joshua:1:6)
The Lord is instructing Joshua, who has just about taken over the greatest responsibility of leading the people of Israel into their promised land - Canaan. Moses is dead and replacing him is no mean job. "Be strong and courageous" is the message from GOD at this juncture in his life. You will find GOD saying the same thing thrice in a matter of four verses in Joshua chapter 1. So, that's not to be taken lightly for Joshua and it is relevant for you and me even today.
"Be Strong" in what? GOD was telling Joshua to be strong in his beliefs or rather in the Word of GOD. Be strong in what you have come to know about me. GOD is saying to us to be strong in what we know about Him. Be strong in your beliefs about me, my Word. Be strong and keep trusting me. Are you facing an uphill task at hand just like Joshua was? Be Strong.
The next part of the message is "Be Courageous"? In what exactly? You need to have the courage to put your beliefs into action. You got to be strong in believing GOD first and then you need the courage to do things that certify your belief in GOD. It's putting our faith into action. GOD wanted Joshua to have the courage to execute things that he believed in. Like leading the people beyond Jordan and Jericho into Canaan. Is there anything holding you back from what GOD has called you to do? GOD's got a message for you. BE STRONG and COURAGEOUS. It's time to act. What are you waiting for?

John 3:16 at 3:16 AM
Last night I woke up at 3:16 AM and suddenly I got reminded of John:3:16. For God so loved the world that he gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. As I was lying in my bed and meditating on it, I got a fresh revelation of God's love. He gave his ONNNLLLYY SON, who has ALL that we need. That ONLY Son contains answers for ALL of our problems healing, deliverance, relationship issues, worries about future and whatever!
Rejoicing over the thought that He loves me I dozed off again. This is just one of the ways that GOD uses to say "I LOVE YOU" to us. He is constantly talking to us. The question is "Are we listening and paying attention to His voice?"
Dear reader, what kind of problem are you facing today? It really doesn't matter as long as you know that GOD LOVES YOU!! You should not know it as just an informative statement but should know it as a revelation. To have a revelation of God's love, you need to have an ongoing relationship with GOD. Not just on Sunday mornings or during a weekday Bible study group.
As you go through this day, as another new month dawns in your life, may you have a fresh revelation of GOD's love for you. Praying for you to have the best of March ever. MARCH ON!
Every single moment you are thinking of me!
How precious and wonderful to consider
that you cherish me constantly in your every thought!
O God, your desires toward me are more
than the grains of sand on every shore!
When I awake each morning, you’re still with me. (Psalms:119:17 & 18)

An End as You Expected
He pursues them and moves on unscathed, by a path his feet have not traveled before. (Isaiah:41:3)
How can someone travel a path for the first time with such an assurance and peace? It's possible to have such a level of peace to travel a new path only under two circumstances. Firstly, the path that he/she is going to travel is safe and there are no hidden dangers. Secondly, the person who is going to take that path for the first time in his/her life knows how the path is going to end. In the above verse, the Lord promises King Cyrus that he will travel a path that his feet had never travelled before yet he will move with peace.
Dear reader, you maybe on the verge of taking a new path that you have never travelled before. It could be a new job, new relationship, new position etc. This is the Lord talking to you right now assuring you that you will move in this new path with peace. Why? Because you know your God as "Jehovah Shalom" - God of peace and there are no hidden dangers. Most importantly, you know how this new beginning is going to end. We find that answer in Jeremiah:29:11 "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end." God is promising you that He will give you an end that matches with your expectation. So, cheer up! Tread along this new path knowing that it will end just how you expected it to and go in peace for the God of peace is coming with you!
Blessings!

Problems or Promises?
Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, “So shall your offspring be.” Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was as good as dead—since he was about a hundred years old—and that Sarah’s womb was also dead. Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised. (Romans:4:18-21)
The message from this passage is simple. If problems in our lives are real, so does the Word of GOD and His promises. I pray that the Lord will make this a revelation and let it be not just an information to you. So the question we have to ask ourselves is, "Are we focusing on the problems or on the Word of GOD?". In the above mentioned passage, Abraham believed GOD against all odds and hope. He never considered his body which was as good as dead or Sarah's which was the same when it came to believing the promise of GOD. In Abraham's case his and his wife's body were as good as dead and that was their biggest problem. But the Lord had given them a promise that a son will be born to them. Now, Abraham has a choice to make. He can either chose to look at the problem and moan about it or think about the promise of GOD which was as real as his problem. He decided to consider the promise of GOD so much so that he forgot the problem (condition of their bodies) completely. This is what the Lord is expecting from us even today. He wants us to focus on the Word of GOD and His promises instead of the problems. Bill Johnson said "Faith doesn't deny a problems existence, it denies it from having any influence". The more we focus in His promises, the quicker we are setting up an avenue for the Lord to bring His promises to pass.
Blessings!

No More Blame Game
When the angel of the Lord appeared to Gideon, he said, “The Lord is with you, mighty warrior. “Pardon me, my lord,” Gideon replied, “but if the Lord is with us, why has all this happened to us? Where are all his wonders that our ancestors told us about when they said, ‘Did not the Lord bring us up out of Egypt?’ But now the Lord has abandoned us and given us into the hand of Midian.” The Lord turned to him and said, “Go in the strength you have and save Israel out of Midian’s hand. Am I not sending you?” (Judges:6:12-14)
Many of us can relate to the situation that Gideon was in. He has heard his parents and everyone around him talk about the mighty miracles with which the Lord had brought them out of Egypt and yet right now, they are under the control of the Midianites. The Israelites were under a constant threat from the enemies around them. For Gideon, this seemed very contradictory to what he has been hearing about the Lord from his ancestors and I am sure the very mention of the GOD of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob would have frustrated him. And at this point in time we see the Angel of the Lord appearing to him and addressing him as a "mighty warrior".
Gideon openly tells the Angel his reservations about trusting the GOD of Israel. It's funny though because the very reason that the people of Israel is under bondage then, is because they had rejected the GOD of Israel. Gideon though had heard about what the Lord had done in their lives before but seem to have missed the point about the results of not walking in His ways. Anyway, he starts to blame the Lord for the current situation they find themselves in. Sounds familiar, isn't it? Many of us do it often. For everything that is wrong on this planet the first person to get the blame is GOD!
Let's see what the Angel of the Lord had to say to Gideon after hearing him blaming the Lord for their oppression. He gives instructions to Gideon to go and fight the Midians and rescue the people of Israel. In other words, He wants Gideon to go and fix the situation. This is exactly what the Lord wants us to do today. We see a truck load of problems around us and the Lord has already equipped us to fix it, not to go on complaining and blaming Him for it. The COVID pandemic has thrown the entire world into chaos and the Lord is looking at the body of Christ to take authority and eradicate not only the virus but to reclaim what has been lost. Let's partner with the Lord and work towards restoration in each and every area that's been vandalized by the evil one.
